I very much look forward to sharing my passion for contemporary art (and drawing in particular) with you, our hotel guests.
As a frequent traveler to international contemporary art fairs, I like hotels where I can settle in comfortably to get to work. Because I am also a great design fan, you will find signed pieces of renowned designers in every room. Of course I suggest you enjoy the pleasures of the bar, where you can try teas and signature cocktails by our mixologist any time of day. I nonetheless also recommend some of our neighbours who are well worth a small detour.
Should you wish, simply cross the street for lunch or dinner at Zebulon. And, for a typical Parisian café, please enjoy Le Nemours, which is just next door on Place du Palais-Royal.

As an art lover, as well as a foodie and music enthusiast, allow me to suggest a few unmissable spots.
I definitely recommend the Studio de l’Ermitage, which is the perfect place for a concert evening. Their program is as good as the ambiance.
For a gourmet day, try brunch at the small tea room in the 17th arrondissement called À la Volée, where you can get delicious homemade cakes which are just to die for!
Follow this with cocktails and canapes at Bouche, the wine cellar that offers products from French terroirs in a particularly warm and friendly setting. For an afternoon of culture and a stroll, start with an exhibition at Palais de Tokyo, the not-to-be-missed art center, and end the day with a stroll along the banks of Seine river.

The highlight of my week is definitely when I get to enjoy good times with my loved ones over lively drinks or an upbeat brunch. So I can’t wait to begin enjoying the hotel’s rooftop where I’ll feel the D. team spirit while continuing to introduce my friends to contemporary drawing.
It’s great that Café Pinson, which is as cozy and fun as it is healthy, right in the middle of the Marais (very close to DRAWING NOW PARIS) where I like to go for quick pit stops along my visits to contemporary art galleries. My ideal day in Paris? How about starting at WHSmith next to the Tuileries garden and then walk to the Louvre to spend the day rediscovering this tremendous museum. A favorite of mine. Perhaps finish the day with a quick shop at the grocery store La Grande Épicerie de Paris, to indulge your appetite for delights and spoil your loved ones!
